These are photos of the equatorial cities of the world, cities that are located near the Equator, with a latitude of less than 5 degrees North or South (less than 550 kilometers from the Equator).

Wow, nice thread. The last city is lovely. There are so few cities along the Equator because most of it's length's crossing the oceans. I couldn't live in an all year summer city

Yeah, the number of cities in this area of the globe is small...

And about summer all year: most of these cities have a warm climate, but Bogota is cold, because it is located 2640 meters above sea level.

That's a good idea for making a thread, but also you should write the name of the country where the city is, specially the less known ones

How could I forget Quito?

Quito is the capital of Ecuador. Ecuador means "Equator" in Spanish. The country has this name because its capital, Quito, is divided by the Equator. The city is at a latitude of zero degrees!
