Yes, it's true, school, university it's a hard time.
I finally finished my semester last week.. so i'll resume my works now.

But i think the major concern, it's about rendering really. Lacks of renders, brings lack of vision, and lack's of inspiration… So if we fix that we may be able to get more stuff together…

I like the idea of pingyao, but once i'm not a expert on kerkythea (is not my render by preference) i have no idea how to do it.

another major problem is the communication here, well newbies are kinda lost when they visit this thread. we need a solution to attract new participants otherwhise this project will be slowed down forever. this is one of the dark sides of a forum, it oftenly contains far too much information to find the important things fast.
any suggestions how to fix this problem are welcome...

for the renders, i feel like repeating this for the 100th time but i'm no longer able to update them frequently.
pingyao's idea to split the city into sections is probably the only way to get fresh renders soon.
i'd be still glad to share all the stored files with anyone who is willing to do renders of them. you can also ask for seperated districts, that's no problem. just don't blame me for not doing renders if you don't do them either.

this is not a priority, you have not to waste all your days up with renders
Girls, are surely, more interesting and the higgest-priority, then there's is all of your stunning designs, then school, so there's no much time left..

i think theres a solution. i said this before, to make things a whole lot easier and efficient. we should choose an area for development. eg. downtown. we complete that area fully like infrastructure and stuff. it would make the city be built faster and better and it would be easier for rendering. what u think guys?

I'm pleased to announce that I will be submitting a new tower to the city tonight. It's not a very original design, as it's based on a condo tower here in Toronto (it's VERY similar, but I've made changes according to how I'd have preferred the design turn out). BUT I do think you guys will really like it, and it signifies that there is still interest in working on this city, even if it happens slowly! (There is no need to rush this city... Rome wasn't built in a day!)

Welp, after having a large Hiatus to follow up on a new hobby, might as well get back to this. If you want DS I can probably do Old Town if my Computer allows (probably won't but worth a shot).

Also I will be finishing the plots I do have but, a clean state is better so if anybody does want the plots before I finish it's open xD

Hopefully now that there is a gap between now and the Exams before study leave then after I should be able to contribute. Hopefully do some of the maps for you as well.....hopefully...

And every-bodies buildings are still looking good even though it's painfully slow.

I have good news too

in this summer, when apple launch the new gen of iMac, Mac Pro's and macbook…
The business company of my dad will buy out 3 Top iMac, and 2 Mac Pro… So hopefully i will be able to render out all the city itself, if kerkythea allow it..

I'm wondering myself if it wouldn't be better to use other rendering engine, once it would been probably much more reliable and stable (the program itself)
I don't know.. maybe some V-ray (or so..)
Or maybe exporting the city to C4D

I Really hope this will get back again.. I'm working on several projects to present in further future.

It's a Shame if this ends now…
