Beberapa waktu kemaren gw sempet posting foto progress proyek pengembangan Paskal Hyper Square (kan udah dimulai tuh), nah gw penasaran kira2 ntar jadinya bakal sesuai konsep yang dulu ga ya (superblock).

Akhirnya gw googling dan nemu rendering proyek tersebut. Namanya "PASKAL PROMENADE". Tapi kok ternyata pengembangannya cuma ada ruko & mall aja ya? hotel & apartmentnya kemana? apa ini belum fix? atau cuma sekedar rendering?


PASKAL PROMENADE

The Paskal promenade represents a new direction for the malls designed within the city. It consists of two distinct buildings. however, multiple link bridges will exist between them so they will easily function as a single entity. The first building is of a more typical indoor nature, intended to house larger anchor tenants such as a Supermarket, Cinemas, Fitness Centre, and Children`s Play area. The larger second building is designed with a number of open air atriums as well as large voids over the central walkway to allow for air circulation and natural light. Many different options for shop size and layout will be available to meet the various needs of tenants, for example, stores can be linked together both laterally and vertically, so tenants can have their intended coverage.

The Buildings have been thoughtfully designed with the endless flow customers in mind. A customer walking through the mall, will never meet a dead end. The open air atriums also act as junctions to esccalators or bridges between the buildings. Thus bringing customers an interesting “Promanede” experience.

The second building takes a curvilinear form similar to that of a treble clef. It curves around an open air main stage area with a second storey viewing balcony which links to the internal second story walkways. It forms an impressive main atrium space. The facade consists of various materials soft and hard materials, which are separated by organically patterned lines that form enclaves in a rhythmic pattern. Keeping with rhythmic and musical theme of the development, the lines and enclaves have been conceptualised from both the cut sections of bamboo of an angklung, as well as the its swaying motion when being played. Together the shape and facade give the building an icon organic flow, bringing something unique to Bandung`s cityscape.

* The very front of the superblock is a complex of shops that had long been completed. Access from Jalan Pasir Kaliki

* Food Market has now moved on the back end of this superblock.

* Location of the old Market Food + vacant land behindwould be potential candidates for The Promenade location (still land clearing + preparation). The Promenade is located in the center superblock and have access to Jalan Kebon Jati.
