I have a fear most of it will be drawfed out or blocked when it comes to seaside veiws of it fromt the Worili seaface in years to come.

(assuming a boat looking at the worli seaface skyline)

Its in a congested area for skyscrapers.

One world will be quite near this.

I wish something like this would come up in Nariman point or Colaba.

This one will only be seen from Haji Ali and the bottom half of the Worli seaface fine.

And I agree, something with a designlike this should have a grand location. On the upper hand we should get lots of pics of this from tourists visiting the Dhobi Ghat

now this is what I call Indian architecture with modern design. Something like this was very necessary in Mumbai. Also the name is also in Hindi Great (Probably the only skyscraper amongst all the U/C skyscrapers).
This is on the top of my list to get built along with India Tower.

They should also build several Dhobighat Towers. The complex can have thousands of units with washers and dryers alloted to the dhobis. Why do people have to do laundry like this in 21st century Mumbai?

OH MY GOD! This absolutely beautiful! This is the first time an Indian skyscraper made my jaw drop. It's absolutely stunning! It's perfect! Beautiful design (incorporating Indian themes), great location, detailed renders, an Indian name, 300m, and it's commercial too! What a perfect counterweight to all those ugly Hafeez buildings. I swear, I will bang my head on the wall and cry if this tower is not built with this exact design. Not even the India Tower looks as awesome as this. AM I DREAMING?!

I hate these kinds of Westerners. They take pictures of slums next to highrises, women in saris talking on mobile phones, etc. and then they go to their blog and type up some cliche, Lonely Planet style crap like "India is a land of contrasts; extremely rich juxtaposed with dirt poor. Ancient traditions and new western trends. A country that has more cellphones than toilets..." blah blah blah. While this stuff is true, it's annoying how every single blog and guidebook about India says the exact same thing. No originality!

Didn't DB Tower make your jaw drop? I still haven't lifted my jaw of the floor after seeing that beauty!! But you're right - this one's space age!! All the three -ai's are going to be unbelievably futuristic in the coming future - Mumbai, Dubai and Shanghai
