Airbus went Boeing in December, they booked 2 big A320 orders for undisclosed costumers.

The 1st is an order of 100 A320s (60 neo, 40 ceo), the 2nd one was an order for 20 neo's. One of these 2 is probably a Chinese order which still has to be allocated to several airlines.

There were also 2 smaller orders, 7 A321s for Turkish and 1 A320 for a private customer.

The neo total now stands at 2,610 orders.

Probably both are for Chinese carriers since they don't name the airlines for a while when placing an order.

The order could also be the expected Jet Airways order.

I assume Jet Airways is behind the unidentified 737-MAX order for 50 aircraft.

Rumor had it that they were going to buy one hundred narrow bodies, plus the Etihad stake would push the 320 family.

Well let's wait, and see.

Could these ordes be for the newly (trans)forming Chinese LCCs?

China United Airlines, Jiu Yuan Airlines, or for existing carrier Spring?

or for a future wholly-owned LCC subsidiary of Air China/China Southern?

The last i heard was that Jet Airways was going MAX. They have a fleet of 737s and i am guessing they probably dont want to spend more money on training their pilots to switch plane type.

With the CAAC you never know who is the exact customer is right away. The same thing has happened with Boeing and the MAX. But it got leaked that Xiamen airlines is a new MAX customer that hasnt firmed up their order yet. China is going to need a lot of new planes to keep up with growing traffic demands in the future.

Which is great news for Airbus and Boeing especially if COMAC follows the path of the ARJ21 with the C919...

The numbers of the undisclosed order match with a MoU from Air China and Shenzhen Airlines that was announced earlier last year.
