D-AINA is steadily doing 4 sectors a day from its base in Frankfurt, hardly ambitious that when the sectors are so short. I expect at least 6 sectors a day from D-AINB
Actually D-AINA has that written as well but on the port side of the aircraft ...as posted by Cager on the picture above.

They obviously do not talk about the plane but the airline, when they say 'the first to fly 320neo'...

Won't need a frame
Never heard of a whole frame being changed out but its not unusual to cut out damage and splice new sections onto frames if they are deformed/ cracked by an impact.

Looking at the bang it got, I'd be surprised if at least one frame didn't need a bit of rework.

Hard to tell if this really is trouble for Pratt and Whitney. Al Baker is, shall we say, generally prone to making aggressive statements.

Quote:
Qatar Airways expects a “very huge” delay before receiving the A320neo,
Meanwhile the 'February' fix date promised by P&W late last year may not be fulfilled.

Quote:
Pratt & Whitney will deliver revised engines for Airbus A320neo jetliners starting in June (AND ALSO) “The engines being built today already have the fixes in,”
So that's really June then, not February.

In that video from Dantorp Aviation, note how amazingly quiet the Pratt & Whitney GTF engines on the A320neo are--they make even the GE GENx and Rolls-Royce Trent 1000 engines used on the Boeing 787 seem very noisy in comparison.

But GEnx and Trent 1000 are a lot bigger
