Chitpavan is a brahmin class from Konkan. They were peshwa in Maratha raj>Marathaman's forefathers were peshwas.

MAMA Patil, today I saw a travel programme on Travel channel about HK. Is it true that Indians donot need visa and upto 14 days visit is fees free?

umm marathaman's forefathers were probably Marathas.

and from what i know only the Bhat family were chitpawans.

The likes of Pingle etc were not.

i could be wrong.

Yes, 14 days in HK for Indians on arrival.
Can be extended for another 14 days if you travel across the border and go to Shenzhen or go to Macau for tharkibaaz activities - and come back into HK

Lot of Indians do this to extend their stay
