i believe there are studies to build some towers with a height of 260m around the 'hofplein'. and further they have projects for dense areas for towers growing up to 150m. so the 'baankwartier', the stationarea, 'wilheminapier', 'zuidplein', 'weena/hofplein' etc.
badly enough is a tower of 395m, with spire 501m, cancelled 2 years ago.

rotterdam is going to get the right way of developing! i hope rotterdam goes over the 200m-line, without spires, chimnies, masts or telecommunicationtowers.

so rotterdam has got 2 215m high chimnies, 2 170m high chimnies, one of 160m with nice flashing lights! one of 120m and etc, the further chimnies in height and another ones i don't know.

so they either has got a lot of 160m high electricitymasts in the near area, because of the many rivers around this harbourcity which cross them.

a 205m high radio, telecommunication mast of concrete and steel!

Yep, will be a great 128 meter tall tower, top of the roof, in a to become superdense area with many residential towers!

There are many interesting projects in Rotterdam! Anyone know what's happening with this Parkhaven (?) tower? Is this only proposal? I hope they build that building:

Coopvaert, by Prologic.
One of the cranedrivers is my uncle

New proposed tower. But the latest news is that the tower is too low

The Fall and the Winter has arrived in the Netherlands. There are not much update pix.

@ Keezy

You post wrong news. That latest impression is not the tower which will be taller. This is the 3th one in that area. (read the update thread more secure please). The other 2 just north of the one you posted will be taller, about 100 meters in stead of 83.

Rotterdam is doing well now, lots of cranes in the city, mainly midrises bringing density.
