Don't forget to check out 'Path in the Forest' installation in Kadrioru park!

Japanese artist Tetsuo Kondo's installation called 'Rada Metsas' (path in the forest) stays in Kadrioru park until 22nd October. It's also one of LIFT11 works.

Pole kuulnudki temast ennem.

Btw,here's a map with location of the installation in Kadrioru park:

The "path in the forest" is already broken...quite unfortunate.

WTF?

No offence, Tin_Can but your photo doesn't do the Japanese garden any justice. It's a lot nicer IRL than on the photos I've seen so far.

I couldn't get a photo from better vantage point - part of garden was fenced off and lower pathways are now forbidden to cyclists So I took a quick snapshot from a bad angle.

@Ebajalg - Trust me,it will look way better in the future. Park officials have said that it takes about 5 years before Japanese garden is like it should be and afaik, there is still some stuff missing. They are probably continuing work there in next year.

During weekend in Tallinn suburb parks or "health paths" as modern version I spotted suitable design - a sign design.

and tinnie, here is my bonus - a sunbathing viper in Tallinn park, last time I did see a really huge rabbit in city center - Linnahall tramstop.

here you go:

Sorry. I'm not trying to be negative about everything, but judging by the bridge (which looks like a horrible piece of concrete trying to resemble something of oriental origin) it doesn't look good and sadly kinda cheap.

Suurgildi History Museum

image hosted on flickr

The wall of animated LCD screens to look like from Harry Potter movie Painting frames, and I made fun with Jüri Kuuskema in second floor, there is hidden dragon. I wont say more. Find it yourself.

And there is lots of guns, and you can make some bang with them, actually, even in automatic mode ;D

Defenitly I like the coming "renessance" of a museums in Tallinn, because rumors are loud, that in Eesti Pank old building becomes "Money Museum" - (that red castle like, towers and coat of arms on wall building).

great news.
