Malabar Builders is the real estate arm of jewelery retail chain - Malabar Gold. It was incorporated in 2008. The company has so far developed five projects, in residential segment apart from several commercial projects including developing outlets for Malabar Gold. The company is also in the process of completing various residential projects in Kerala.

Besides the Mangalore project, it is planning 700,000 sft shopping mall in Thiruvananthapuram with an investment of Rs200Cr and a township at Thrissur, Kerala. It is also developing a shopping mall in Kollam. These projects are expected to ready in the next three to four years.

I thought malls were places spread over a certain minimum area with multiple brands lots of parking food courts multiplexes and so on. Looks like malls are taking on a whole new meaning. Atleast not around me.

Hansa plaza update has just the land pics? i was thinking the construction was going on in full swing..how long we've to wait seeing the plans and animated videos alone.

It's a 2 Million SF project, perhaps the biggest single-phase real estate development in Kerala, so let's wait for things to start moving because even the planning and tendering for a project of this magnitude is a massive undertaking in itself.

Ziyan, the mall part itself has a BUA of 1.1 Million SF, the rest is residential.
