I don't know. Wikipedia says 400,000 but I don't know if I could believe that. The city is rather small in area.

150k-300k is my estimation. "Reer Miyi" coming in during poor wet and dry seasons might swell up the outskirt numbers part of the year.
What I like about Burco is that it is dense and has a decent urban design, it has not really sprawled on the same extent that Hargeysa has. |

I would say the population of burco is around the 300-400k figure. It is quite a large city. Slightly smaller in land area in comparison to Boosaaso or Galkcayo. But very dense when compared to Boosaaso or Galkacayo. But its only a guestimation.
