Capital Towers & The Gate District

Here are some pictures of the Capital Towers construction site and The Gate District:

Capital Towers site:

When will the towers ever get up off the ground? They seem to have been preparing the foundations forever

. Whats going on with this project. Perhaps some financial trouble for the AbuDhabi based company that owns them?

The Gate District Site:

Does anyone know what the buildings around the gate will look like? And dont you think they are awfully close tho the Gate itself? If they are going to hide that beautiful building behind some silly 6-8 level buildings, they better be good!

And I only hope they look nothing like the Greens!!!.

Some how I dont think that any Abu Dhabi based company would have financial problems!!!!! And those buildings would block the gate off. I wont be surprised if they put up a skyscraper in front of it. But hey atleast the SZR would look full. Most of the empty patches on either side of the highway are going fast except near the fairmont.

well i think the 6-8 floor building are need to add support to the gate and to block the huge car parks behind each of the talls on SZR
