Well, the problem with this kind of thread is people keep posting photos of "cities under 1 million inhabitants" which are actually centers of huge metro areas.

Actually, Balneário Camboriú is indeed part of a 550,000 metro area, but it's not the main center of it (it would be Itajaí, 185,000 people). The skyline is due its condition as the biggest resort-city in Southern Brazil, attracting also, besides southerners, a lot of Argentinians and Uruguayans. It's summer population is about 1 million.

My city, Londrina (506,000 inhabitants) is regarded as having a relatively big skyline:

Maybe you should take the time to read the posts above before you post.

Maybe you should mind your own business because Mississauga is a city on it's own, it is considered a suburb of Toronto because of its vicinity. Anything else mr. Nosy ???

ale, you're the one who needs to mind your own business because your post is not relevant to this thread. the OP specifically stated under one million metros only, not over 5 million like your metro. go start your own thread.

Mississauga doesn't look anywhere as nice as the Gold Coast imo. If I were to pick any Canadian city under 1 million, it'd have to be Quebec City (metro of 715,515).

Yeah exactly, it's in the Toronto Metro.

So it isn't valid in this thread.

First thing that came to my mind was Benidorm for quantity and Gold Coast for quality. Been to both places.

Have a hard time stomaching gimmicky places like Abu Dhabi.

Agreed. Which is always the problem with nebulously framed threads such as this. What is with this current plague of "Best Skyline for Cities under Population X" threads? Can we maybe
give it a break for awhile and resist making new ones? Please? Thanks!
