So it appears they have renamed two stations of the Shaheba branch of line 6 (the so-called Guobo line). They are Huanlegu (i.e. Happy Valley, formerly Pingchang) and Huaqiaocheng (i.e. Overseas Chinese Town, formerly Huangmaoping). When they were first opened (in February 2015, almost two years later than the rest of the branch) they were in the middle of nowhere, and now there is something else near them.

About the apartment building through which the monorail passes: If a station really is within that building, that would mean a lot of apartment units being taken out, and I imagine there were some major structural reinforcements done to the buildings when the monorail lines were being constructed (that is, if those apartment buildings really were built before the monorail was, I'm not sure).

One of the Line 6 stations is still in the middle of nowhere. The only functioning entrance to Caojiawan station is off a muddy lane in an isolated wasteland.

Here is an oddity, a Line 0 train. Using a newly developed loading gauge called "As" (small A size?) It has the width of an A size train (3m) but the length of each car is 20m, similar to a B size train. This will allow for the train to run in tighter alignments while maintaining a fairly high passenger capacity, a valuable asset in Chongqing. They will run in 6 car sets but I heard rumors that some lines in Chongqing will have reservations to expand to 7 cars. So far Lines 4, 5, 9 and 10, all under construction, will use As size trains.

absolutely incredible, amazing that is really a metro subway station. Chongqing growth is simply incredible!!

Does anybody have a listing of the new lines for CRT? Originally only Lines 1 and 6 were to be heavy rail while now it appears there will be significantly more and not much more heavy monorail lines. ...

Wow, I thought there was something around Caojiawan station since before October 2015, when it was put into service. I don't see the point of having it open while there's still nothing in the vicinity. I can think of Qianhaiwan station in Shenzhen as being in the middle of nowhere too, but at least it has some sense being an interchange station between three lines.

It is impressive to see this transport system, it seems from a movie. In truth I had never seen a system with these characteristics, with stations inside buildings with underground stations and areas according to the terrain, in fact that is very interesting.

regards.

Everything about Chongqing is so cyberpunk. The crammed city centre, the elevated highways, bridges and monorails everywhere... It may lag behind the coastal cities, but it has an unrivaled charm.

At least there is a functional exit at Caojiawan, I was curious about near developments at Qianhai, so when I decided to go out of Qianhaiwan station, a couple of years ago. I walked up the steps of the only manned exit available to find blue fencing surrounding the entire exit. Not even access to a nearby road or lane. It was used only be construction workers on the surrounding developments. It was like something from a movie, it was truely bizarre. Especially when I had to return to ticket hall and was made to go through full security checks, by a very bored looking crew, despite not being able to leave the station.
