^A quick look at the posts in the threads generally give a fair indication of the status of the project.

![]() I don't propose to change the way the thread titles are structured, only (as you say) to have threads on individual major towers that don't require one to search through pages for photos and updates.

If any suburban tower is over 100 metres, it does deserve its own thread.

But also some towers less than 100m are thread worthy. This shouldn't be a hard rule.

I see no objections to some new threads, so I best get on it?

BUMP.
This thread should be a sticky, essential reference.

Were in for a big year everyone - Barangaroo and CUB will take off. ANZ Centre should be finished. That is just a snippet of what to expect.

I've updated the list.
Removed Civic Place in Parramatta from the project pipeline, put 85 Castlereagh Street on the completed in 2012 list and updated the status of towers such as City One. Anyone got anything else to add/change? Sydney has 1/3 the number of 100m+ projects when compared to Melbourne.

![]() Cheers for that Cul! We really need to get some more CBD construction projects underway - there is more over 75m happening in Homebush than in the city at present!

And for the record, have added 55-57 George Street, Parramatta (31L/106M/RESI) to the list, as discussed in the Parramatta thread (even if the DA is several years old, good to keep track of it).

well im fairly excited atm. dont know about you guys, but sydney is on verge of exciting times in the CBD.
1. looks like Cityone will happen sooner rather then later. its a fab design, yes short but id rather a great glassy skyscraper then a tall shitty one. 2. Barangaroo is proding along. the 3 office towers are underway with piling ect 3.1 alfred st is set to start 2013. great slender tower rising above circ quay. 4. 200 george st DA will be lodged soon. mirvac want to start this asap. so 2013 shaping up as good year. 5.pier hotels location will be locked in soon and new tower will be submitted. LL want to start 2013. ![]() 6. lots of smaller stuff hapening around town. uts, smaller boutique projects. 7. central park moving along fast. looking incredible 8. sydney may finally get a new tallest and will start 2013.! get excited!

So I'm putting together a list of U/C, approved, proposed over 70m in the Sydney Metropolitan Area and I need help! There are a number of projects that I haven't been able to include (or don't know the height of) in the burbs that I would greatly appreciate if anyone has info on (height, # stories etc)
Here's the list so far... ![]() Also if some towers have finished, let me know and I'll delete them

As I have pointed out in the Barangaroo thread, there may not be enough cranes to go around with so many needed for the construction projects at Barangaroo. This may lead to delays with other city projects.
