I have their name misspelled too. I'll go back and correct it.

Has anyone seen a rendering of the 230 Broadway project. The back side has some great surface variations on the building. This could really change the way B'way looks.

Yes, there's a .pdf link in one of the threads. Basically it'll look similar to Brix (Yay!), with some color accents on the juliet balconies. I fully expect it to be one of the best looking mid-rise projects of this cycle.
edit: 3 minutes late! |

Very cool, but why so short? It's just a block from the station!

This one is already under construction I think. It's a start, replacing a couple of 2-floor buildings and surface parking lot. Hopefully this height will become the standard street wall height for Broadway with some taller ones sprinkled in between.

As of 5 years ago, they couldn't have even built this high, the limit was 45 feet.

230 Broadway is topped out. I already love it much more than what was there. It's pretty massive looking.

CHS has a good rundown, albeit with slightly outdated photos, of u/c projects on Capitol Hill.

February 28, 2012 New apartments for two city sites http://www.djc.com/news/re/12038364.html By JOURNAL STAFF SEATTLE — Developers have filed plans for two large housing projects on Capitol Hill and Lower Queen Anne. Jacobsen Family, LLC proposes a six-story complex at 10th Avenue and East Union Street on Capitol Hill. It would have 250 units above 12,000 square feet of retail space and 180 parking stalls.

Those are two different projects (the one on the photo will be u/c soon and has less than 100 apartments from what I remember). I think the new one is the full block where Po Dog/Auto Battery is now.

I have to drop off a donation to LLAA today, I will see if there is a board up on the block.

Wasn't the first one deep into demo by now? Assuming the marriage didn't save it?

If a trailer is onsite, and there's some sort of piling or shored excavation going on, it might be construction...
