![]() Racing Métro 92 (formerly Racing Club de France) 5x Champion (French rugby union championship/TOP 14): 1892, 1900, 1902, 1959, 1990 1x Cup runner-up (Challenge Yves du Manoir/French rugby union cup): 1952 Location: Paris (Nanterre/La Défense), Ile de France Name: "Arena 92" (New Stadium) Tenant: Racing-Métro 92, Rugby (formerly Racing-Club de France) Capacity: 32,000 (2,000 business seats + 100 suites) Opening: mid-2014 Architects: Atelier Christian de Portzamparc, jointly with Vinci (construction) Cost: €320M (100% Private: Racing-Métro 92/Stadome + naming rights) Retractable Roof + movable tiers for concert/indoor arena configuration 33,000m˛ of office spaces + 10,000m˛ of commercial/entertainment areas inside the stadium Renewable energy (geothermal heating, photovoltaic cells: 1,100m˛ & solar-thermal panels) Rainwater collection system Yesterday, the winners of the international competition to build the stadium were announced by the Racing-Métro 92: Christian de Portzamparc, jointly with Vinci (construction). From the exterior it looks nice, but the interior... :S Whats that blank white wall on one side? They should make that part glassy! |

That one end of the stadium with the big screen looks crap! Actually, the whole stadium is pretty rubbish. Yep, it's certainly very 'disappointing'.

Well, perhaps some minor changes can be expected (especially about this wall), but the overall shape won't change IMO.
