How long does the painting process last?

Paint process depends on how complex the livery is. 4-10 days

I just got the updated paint schedule and both TRX 748's will be painted all white. Scheduled to be stored in Marana by years end.

It would have been a very very very big surprised if the 747s that Aeroflot would take over from Transaero would not have been 747-400s but the 747-8s they had on order. It's also more logical as the 747-400s are owned by a Russian leasing firm, which is already a partner of Aeroflot. It's also most likely that Aeroflot will take over some 747-400 certified pilots from Transaero to fly these planes.

I wonder, is it difficult for any Boeing 747-400 qualified pilots to convert to Boeing 747-8?
