LN1520 RC673 (formerly in Seahawk livery) was painted into CargoLogicAir livery (subsidiarity of AirBridgeCargo registered in Great Britain). No idea about final registration.

This was sorted out months ago save with the evidently bewildered.

Dumping piles of planespotter shit in news threads is not news and is not discussion and is not WANTED because we cannot see the news for all the moronic spam that planespotters dump in here on occasion...were you able to search a bit. In fact a special photos sub forum was set up where nobody complains about photos. Link up the page.

I dont understand the use of the language, anyways its seems you are like twelve but in my 8 years as a forumer its sad to encounter bullies as yourself, I dont see the need to bash other people that want to post pictures and maybe they dont know they can´t in the first place!! And if they do I think its the responsability of a REAL MOD to tell them otherwise, not a wannabe that tells off everyone that posts a picture. I will not continue to argue from this point onwards as I have a life.

I read that the other two engines will be reinstalled at the museum. They were taken off to save weight on the tow to the final site.

While I was doing a photo shoot with Wolfe Air I observed that they are actively prepping KAL LN1529 for a B1 flight unpainted.

Also LN1533 for Silkway (with engines) has been sealed up for storage.

So that makes 4 747-8F's in storage (2 Silk Way, 1 KAL, and 1 Cathay, plus the 2 Transaero NTU's.

Cargolux LN1534 was in slant 1 when I drove by also.

From last week:

A new Air Force One is on the way

Stephen Losey, Air Force Times
4:36 p.m. EDT May 12, 2016

Quote:
The Air Force on Tuesday gave Boeing the green light to start submitting design proposals for the new presidential aircraft that, by 2024, will shuttle a future president around the world.

The Air Force posted online an amendment to its Air Force One contract — also known as the Presidential Aircraft Recapitalization — authorizing Boeing to begin preliminary design activities.

In January 2015, the Air Force announced it had chosen the Boeing 747-8 as the platform for the next Air Force One, and gave the company a sole-source contract to modify the aircraft. If all goes well with the design and development process, the new presidential aircraft could be up and running in 2024. The aircraft are expected to last 30 years.

But the government has somewhat scaled back its plans for the new Air Force One. As recently as Jan. 29, the contract synopses on FedBizOpps said the government would buy “up to three” new aircraft. Now, the latest version of the contract synopsis said the government will buy two modified 747-8 aircraft from Boeing.

Not long and all 747-400s will be gone. Must be 8 years or so since I had the please to be on board of one.
