There's no information on which frames they will get. The 2 Transaero frames will most likely go to Iran, but the other 2 are not yet known if these the other 2 NTUs or newly builds. It's also still possible that they only end up taking 2. We simply don't know for sure yet.

Great news that finally. Iran Air is able to get new planes. Hopefully, this pushes through. The two NTUs from Transaero is readily available.

The 2 Transaero NTU's are heading to the desert next month as they are tied up in litigation/ownership issues with the Transaero Bankruptcy. Boeing can't do anything with them until that is resolved.

End of an era. This also happens to be the only Cathay 747 flight I've taken. Pretty worn down were those 747s!

Boeing is up to now producing 747-8’s at a rate of 0,5 per month, a planned return to one per month in 2019 has been cancelled.

This month the FAL has been slowing down further and only two out of four positions are occupied by 747-8 aircraft.
The two Transaero 747-8I NTU aircraft will be stored in San Antonio awaiting the completion of the legal/ownership procedures.
One 747-8BBJ order seems to be cancelled, probably L/N1495, the second for the UAE, already stored in the desert since 2014.
At the end of this month two aircraft are delivered, one for Cargolux (ahead of the 2017 schedule) and one for AirBridgeCargo (L/N 1536), the actual delivery flight is scheduled for the first week of October.
The" Chinese Air force one ", L/N 1510, has been re-emerged for a test flight after more than a year from the Lufthansa Technik Hangar at Hamburg after completion of the VIP interior.

Indicated are :
- Not delivered (or stored) aircraft
- Aircraft delivered in September (marked #)
- Four already delivered, but not active VIP (3 BBJ's and one converted airliner) aircraft are indicated and marked @

More exactly, the KC-46A is based on the 767-200ER fuselage, the 767-300F wings, and the 767-400ER flightdeck and flaps. There are very, very few parts in common with the 767-200 or 767-200ER.
