So far how many Boeing 747-8i has Lufthansa received? And are all of their orders have been completed?

What about other airlines?

Looks like Lufthansa has received 13 of their 19, and no other airlines have received a 747-8i. Korean Air I believe is the next one to get theirs, then Air China.

Close, Air China has their first one built, waiting for paint. Korean will follow, then Transaero.

The next 747-8 that will be loaded into final assembly will be the 1st 7478I one for Korean Air, it will be directly followed by 9 more 747-8I's, then 1 747-8F and then 3 more 747-8I's. That's 13 747-8I's in a row just with 1 F in between.

It looks like because of the 747-8F's that have been parked in the desert before delivery they are now pushing the 747-8Is. They will build all 4 remaining 747-8Is for Lufthansa in a row. Air China will also get all of their 7 747-8Is before the end of 2015.

Here's the 1st 747-8 for Air China, before painting it was stripped of it's protective coating showing it's bare aluminum skin. Now it's waiting for an open spot in the paint hangars in Everett.

Well, there are only 2 8Fs in the desert, and 1 BBJ. The 8Fs are supposed to just be delivery deferrals until late this year, and the 5 8Fs that are lounging around KPAE are supposed to be sometime sooner.

Regarding the 8is all being lined up in a row, part of that I believe is just how the slots were allocated, since the Intercontinentals were launched and ordered later. Another part may be that they were trying to wait for the PIP and other improvements that Boeing promised almost immediately upon first delivery of the 8i to LH.

Regarding LH's birds being all in a row, that may have been part of the re-shuffling of delivery schedule that Lufthansa asked for earlier this year. They wanted their frames earlier, and at their current positions, they look to be rolling out late this year or early next year, for probably delivery in the first quarter of next year.

I think that is a good sign that they are happy with the frames and generating some good revenue with them. Hopefully that translates into more orders, both from other airlines and LH themselves, even if it may be a small space still compared to the battle of the twins.

May I know who actually ordered the BBJ?

According to this article which is still partly readable even though it's partly behind a pay wall AirBridgeCargo is in talks with Boeing to take some more 747-8Fs.
http://cargofacts.com/airbridge-repo...-more-747-8fs/

The currently have 5 747-8Fs and 7 747-400 ERF / Fs, they eventually want to become an all 747-8F carrier.

We might see them taking LN16 that is still not taken by any airline after being rejected by Atlas Air. The status of all the Silk Way Airlines 747-8Fs that have already assembled or about to be completed is also not clear. Some of these 4 birds might also become available for other takers. If ABC wants to have some extra 747-8s quickly it could be arranged by Boeing. Otherwise there are always some unfilled production slots that are not that far out into the future.

I believe you meant LN 1437. I doubt they will take that particular airframe. In early 2013 AirBridgeCargo complained about performance shortfalls of the early airframes. An order for new builds is more likely, unless they have changed their minds and found an usable route for LN 1437.

If it's fitted with the most recent engine PIP and the improved software it will be significantly better then the original specs of the early 747-8Fs.

And it's the quickest option to get one, if they are growing as fast as they say they are doing and need one right now it could be a valid option.
