And there are two new 4 stories apartment buildings proposals on Woodland Park Ave N. Both projects are right across from each other between 36th and 38th. It is looking like Fremont will be next Ballard.

As it should be. It's very walkable, but small. Extend the walkable area along the water up Stone Way, and you connect right to Wallingford. I imagine someday in the more distant future it'll be walkable all the way to Ballard in the other direction.

That would be nice. I really want to see Gasworks Park to extend to all the way to Fremont Hub area along Lake Union. There is no real park in Fremont neighborhood (a couple of plazas are not counted).

Nice.

The Thai Restaurant & Lounge might be the coolest building in Seattle.

They've also got the best Pad Thai in town! May Thai for those wanting to try.

Yum!
That last project is QFC right? It's really moving along..
I love Wallingford...check out Rain Sushi near that horrid Taco Time.
SOC is another one of my favorite buildings.

lol, it doesnt even look like shes riding the bike. Looks like a photoshopped walking lady with a bike with another persons legs.

Anyway, the building looks good. Not quite sold on that shade of green though.

I'm trying to make out a rhyme or reason to the placement of the light and dark green panels but they seem to be haphazardly placed. They don't even "flow" like the blue/white panels of that building across from SAFECO Field. The developers of this Wallingford building should try to have some sort of pattern.

Green light for Skanska project

SEATTLE — A city design review board on Monday recommended that the Department of Planning and Development approve Skanska USA's Stone34 project.

Located at 3400 Stone Way N., it is the second building in the city's Living Building pilot program. The program requires buildings to use at least 75 percent less energy and water than a typical building. Buildings also must capture and reuse 50 percent or more stormwater.

But.... But... it'll block out the sun... And overrun the ENTIRE neighborhood with cars.... and reverse the magnetic polarity of the earth....
