yeah it is time for shenzhen to keep up with wuhan, shanghai, dubai and tianjin and get its third 400m starting aswell to join the club

and second city after tianjin to have two 500m buildings finished or under construction.

Rumours say, height of this building might be reduced to around 400m. Gaoloumi also changed their thread title of this building to ~400m. Very unfortunate

yes rather old rumors. there is a lot of discussion in this thread about this change. that change would also mean a lot of other buildings suffering a severe height deduction in the qianhai area. the reason is flight paths of the airport btw. either the paths get changed or the most promissing areas in shenzhen will get a cut off at 400m

We wont change the height unless we get some reliable confirmation (we are not a trollcracy)

Yea, but if it was a height increase, it would be changed right away.

if that was the case Kingdom Tower would have been changed upwards aswell because of that -5.9m business discussion there was a few days ago that would push the height upwards. but rumors do not make a titl change happen unless there are at least some sources

no but a height decrease from 525m to 400m is simply a pity. nevertheless 400m are still very tall but this design just fits so great with 500m+.

At 525m it would have been a landmark structure of that area. Now it's just another 400m building waiting to rise above the ground. There are plenty of 400m buildings U/C, but 500m+ are still a rarity. Bad news for us skyscraper fans
