This tower seems to have an extremely efficient core/floorspace ratio, at least at the lower floors where the structure is extremely wide.

it would be even better if the core would be round as well i think. But for sure there are reasons why it's not.

why?

there is enough floor space left, plus the square core house the elevator shafts, emergency stairs, other shafts for electricity, water, etc. Also lobbies, toilets and other service areas. A circular core would be complicated to build and also use all those, that's why most cores are rectangular or at least hexagonal-octogonal.

This might turn out very futuristic.

I know, it was just theoretical that a round core would allow more floorspace. A circular core isn't that complicated to build i think but as you said there's less space inside.

I don't think the second photo is from today, maybe last week? As you can see in my previous post there has been a lot more progress on this building!

This is the view from my kitchen 2 minutes ago. I can watch this building rise as I'm cooking my breakfast so I can post pretty regular updates
