You are really lucky to have such a view! Any chances to set up a webcam? Perhaps we can start a crowdfounding?

It certainly will be.
I'm looking forward to see some cladding on this beast. Could be happening soon.

That core is supremely epic. I think this has a good chance of looking as good as the render.

Looks like a giant cage only with beams from the core to the outside. How do they construct the intermediate floors? Are there prefabricated parts?

I'm not sure if you can see but the lower floors all have the intermediate floors done. I guess the pics I took from my kitchen are at a strange angle.

It's starting to impose itself on the local landscape

Not a fan of the wide-net cladding, the renders do make it look nice but I'll be waiting until it's topped out before making my final decision-right now I'm cautious of getting too excited

I'm not in the trade or anything, so what do you mean by 'wide-net cladding'?

"Wide-net cladding" obviously means the cladding of the outdated rendering in the first post.

Sorry, I didn't think it was obvious. From my perspective 'wide-net' could have been a technical term for a kind of cladding and it wasn't obvious the poster was referring to the old renders as it's quite easy to look through the later pages to see the updated renders.
