This illustrates the proper way to copy, post, and credit photographer on Flickr, which the moderating staff would now like for all of us to follow, in order for us to stay on good terms with Flickr and keep using them.

It's probably what you've been doing, which is great! But not everybody is doing it or even knows how to do it, so we're just trying to keep our behinds covered here. If there are any Flickr representatives looking in, they will at least know we are serious about staying on good terms with them.
