As for a city of this size I would say it's the fastest developing city in the whole region

I couldn't wait to sea all this building U/C. Could anybody draw some suspected skyline. Even symbolic high and placement. I want to compare this with Tallin.

The buildings are quite scattered, only one (the Kay tower) will be built in the center part of the town. Others are going to be built in the southern, mostly industrial part of Klaipeda

What a shame but maybe if they will become success it will bring new investments I hope it will came a truth.

They may all be new and sleek, but what upsets me about these designs is that the buildings could be just about anywhere.

dziki... compare it with tallinn? like what? that woudnt show anything, ill draw tallinn 2010.. compare it to amsterdam if u fancy!.. but klaipeda vs tallinn?!! :P ok, sorry i overreacted , great projects there, how tall are those buildings the 36 floorer is 130-140something?

that36-floorer will be residential AFAIK, so it shouldn't be taller than 120-125m

The first pic, Gandraliskes residential district, looks very sweet. It'd be a great sight when walking on that street.
B1 Business Center is nice, too, it gives an impression of a very high building.
I'm not so sure about the Kay Tower. Sure, it has a remarkable design, but I'm not into it very much. I especially don't like the lower part, where the building widens to the front.
Can't say much about the Akropolis, all those hypermarkets are just some metal boxes.

According to the latest news, the construction of 27 floor office building (B1 Business Center) "will start in a few months due to project correction". The construction had to begin this month.

And here's a rendering of the latest (but perhaps yet not final) version of the project

New plastics factory in Klaipeda

Construction of massive plastics manufacturing facility is about to start in Klaipeda Free Economic Zone (FEZ). Total investment is expected to be about 100 million Eur 40 million of which will go to Lithuanian construction companies which will sign the contracts of construction works. The investor is Thailand's company "Indorama". The plant will be capable to produce 180,000 t of plastic raw material per year. 120 new work places will be created. Opening of the factory is sceduled for the beginning of 2006.

WOWw klaipeda will have a great skyline, so many highrises u/c and proposed (their skyline will be 4th in S&B region after vilnius riga and tallinn, no doubt)
