Could anybody post pics of this furniture fair? Is the complex around the tower already built and working?

There were some lovely pictures of this project in the prep stage on Gaoloumi.com today. They said this project will cost 10 billion yuan just as much as East Tower in Guangzhou.

It's time that Dongguan gets a piece of the supertall action. Guangzhou and Shenzhen are getting all the attention.

Nice. The twist gives it just that bit extra. Stands in a very non urban environment though.

it's a very nice building, but it isn't unique. i think this would look amazing in an already impressive skyline, but as a stand alone tower this isn't like taipei 101 or nanjing IFC, it isn't unique.

So will this be the tallest twisting tower because it is taller than Al Hamra Tower?

Only if it finishes before Shanghai Tower, which is doubtful.
