Probably something like this :

Polish carrier, Enter Air is planning to operate a series of "Santa flights" to/from Enontekio in Arctic Finland during December 2012. The programme includes a series of long breaks with flights departing at 10am. Enter Air will be operating the flights with their
737-400's. The airline also looks set to be operating many flights into Birmingham during 2013 as they seem to be moving into the UK market. More on that when I get it.

Marston Green does not, and will never suffer with noise from aircraft overhead. The village of Marston Green sits beside the runway so planes pass it at speed for a second or two. It is the areas of Garretts Green, Lea Village, The Radleys at one end, and Hampton-in-Arden and Bickenhill at the other that suffer with the thrust as planes takes off.

Engine testing on the ground though does cause a problem to Marston Green, but this is restricted and fined if exceeded.

Drove through the A45 yesterday for the first time since work stated, you don't actually realise how big the site is until you see it for yourself!

Any news on a new indoor viewing area? The airport certainly lacks one.

Also, despite the fact the airport is 'one terminal', are they still using the 'terminal 2' section for domestic flights?

T2 was always a "Eurohub" so it was always international, using at first BA and AA flights then AirFrance / KLM came over with Flybe and now Ryanair use it. I like the business feel of it.

I see the Ryanair static display team bit BHX in the backside today.

SQ328 B777-300 had to divert from MAN, but BHX's 2 widebody remote stands were occupied by 2 Ryanair B737's, so he went to EMA instead!

Slightly disappointing for the spotters maybe but commercially I'd take a guess that the cumulative revenue earned from the parked up aircraft over the weeks/months may come to slightly more than a quick "splash and dash" from Singapore.
