I don't think people in a big highrise city expect views that taper off into the distance, they expect views of other buildings across the street. You pay for what's at your door step at street level. If you happen to get an unblocked view, it's an added bonus.

I agree, but who will want to drop a massive amount of money on a full floor condo when the entire point of having an entire floor is for the views. It kind of defeats the purpose of the design. They should maybe rework the interior design and break up the lower floors into small units.

Sounds like someone isn't a millionaire and is still in shock about it..

Hey I'm just a realists and am pointing out a huge flaw in who this building is being marketed to. I'm sorry for pointing out some obvious flaws in their research which may kill off any chance of this thing going up. I used to work right next to where this building is being proposed for so I know how hemmed in it will be on the lower levels. I also know this developer takes the cake for the slowest builder in the city so anybody with any sense will probably have done their research and will steer clear of them. Millionaires don't get rich making bad choices in life.

I hope I'm wrong, I'd love to see this go up but I won't be shocked if it never happens. If it does I look forward to seeing it from certain angles in about 8 years when it's done.

Andrew has a great point here. This proposal is an interesting concept but I`m honestly not sure if I would trust these guys with a 39 storey condo tower. Might take them decades to finish. Their low-rise Templar Hotel has taken years and still hasn`t opened yet. Langston Hall One has been on the market for years and construction has yet to start. If I purchased here, I would be frustrated on how nothing has happened. These guys need to get their act together ASAP, or else they will miss the boat while the market is still relatively hot. Right now, I would rather invest my money with Freed developments in the area.

I assumed very little about having an entire floor was about views, but having lots of living space with no one else on your floor. The elevator can open right into your unit.

What would be the point of an entire floor if it wasn't about the views? Why not just buy a large unit somewhere else for the same price but with views? Views are a better investment then direct elevator access.

I choose where to live based on what's downstairs (on the street), architecture/design, quality, etc. What I can see out the window is important, but quite far down the list. It's where I am that matters, not what I can see out the window. I want to step out of the lobby and be in the thick of it. I don't want to have to walk 10 blocks to get there. Maybe that will change when I'm a senior.

Views? I can go to the CN Tower if I want to do that.

Well then people should stop paying more for views like they do in all new builds. The higher you are the more you pay for premium view and that's a fact.
