Yung vast property in Bulua is owned by Floirendo family of CdeO. Anyway, relatives lang rin ng Floirendo family of Davao.


Anyway back to the topic. I'm just wondering bakit napakalalim ang excavation ng hotel. Sa lalim ng excavation, pwede skyscraper hotel nalang ang gawin?

for me, even if the Floirendos haven't offered their prime lots, there are still lots that can be found both in CdeO or Davao. Perhaps, we can safely say it was much easier for both CdeO and Davao to have those malls built easily becoz of the Floirendo's help rather than doing some land banking and paying other lot owners within 2 to 3 years and besides looking for lot and negotiating for proper lot price is another dagger.

i agree with you on that. lets focus on the hotel since theyre digging a deep hole. for me, i think this is a high rise hotel. the least would be 12 but the maximum would be 16. i could be wrong though but its just an opinion

Bai, I am pleased that Ayala is making a mall and hotel here in CdeO... Yes, the Floirendo lot is nicely located... But, it doesn't mean its the best for an Ayala Mall and hotel to be located... Next year, this area will be so CHAOTIC (as if di pa ron)! Di ko ka-imagine... And, it's not that big... Mao gani gitungtong na ang hotel sa mall... Other prime areas? Daghan man... Paseo del Rio... The Alvarez lot in front of CUMC... The Pelaez lot beside Multiple Intelligence School in Kauswagan... The huge lot beside The Eastbound Terminal... The lot in front of Maria Reyna Hospital... Daghan pa, Bai... Now, saying that without the Floirendos of Davao, Ayala won't be investing in CdeO is a little inappropriate... Huna-hunaa ra gud... The main reason Ayala is investing in CdeO is not because the Floirendos offered them a nice lot! They invested in CdeO because this city is a good market... This is the main reason, Bai... Don't you think so, too? :-)

Precisely. And as I've said before especially atong rumor pa ning Ayala sa CdeO... Their investment relies mainly on the purchasing power of the CdeO populace and its neighboring areas..the Floirendos just can't simply dictate whether or not the Ayalas will build a mall.

I mean, what if the Floirendos had a lot here in Iligan? Will they necessarily persuade the Ayalas or would the Ayalas do the same thing like the way they did with CdeO? I don't think so...coz purchasing power wise, Iligan doesn't have it, high employment rate, etc...
