Offtopic but kind of reminds me of capping St. Magdalene church in Wroclaw only few days ago.

There was just film in TV about a guy thanks whom is saved the knowledge of building such a sailing vessels. Great to see such a grassroots initiative.

one of my favourite signs of urban revitalization is infill. I like this little project in Praga (right bank Warsaw) that is part of this wonderful district's renaissance. The new subway stations are nearing completion so I expect much more activity in Praga in the near future:

thanks deamon82

construction on the new Creativity Centre has started that involves the retrofitting and additions to existing Praga kamienice (multi-unit townhouses):

meanwhile Warsaw's trendy interwar built OChota district is seeing restorations on a massive scale, street after street, whole streets with a complimentary colour scheme that ties it all together in a visually pleasing way. Enjoy !

The first 4 are of recent renos in Old Praga (right bank Warsaw)

Thanks janex wwa

Ochota

Mokotow

I've never seen those before! Very interesting views of the part of Castle Square that was never rebuilt to showcase the fortifications. And, I also really liked the neoclassic facade of the castle over the current one.

Te z Downtown so super. Tak powinna wygladac Warszawa, ladna jasna, a nie jakies zolte, ruzowo pomaranczowe z toaletowymi odcieniami.

interesting how all these added details seem to add not just depth but the perception that the building is larger.
