Awesome. Love the design.
Now just another to come in south of Euro tower to rid us of that obscene blank wall.

PV: it's 131 Bathurst Street.
18 storeys 55m Candalepas Architects http://www.skyscrapercity.com/showthread.php?t=672974 Image :Every time I trot along Bathurst Street I wonder what became of this one because it's been approved - over a year ago, I think. 55m seems very popular height around this area. Tony Owen is popping up everywhere these days: must be the flavour of the month. Last edited by Brizer; March 7th, 2011 at 12:24 AM. |

Brilliant. Why can't we have 200m towers of this quality!
Also, what's the reason for the low height limit of 55m?? |

Am I the only one who doesn't like it? To me it is overcomplicated and the colour scheme is a mess. Maybe it's just the renders are poor??

The warped facade is fine with me. Out of the three proposed on the block, this is my favourite.

Sydney needs more architecture like this, I love it's unconventional beauty! I wish Sydney was this brave with the designs for 150m and 200m towers.
Look at what they're doing in New York today: image hosted on flickr ![]() http://www.skyscrapercity.com/showthread.php?t=760458 ![]() http://www.skyscrapercity.com/showthread.php?t=547362 image hosted on flickr ![]() http://www.skyscrapercity.com/showthread.php?t=404222 Last edited by Mornnb; March 8th, 2011 at 05:30 AM. |

That beautiful tower by j nouvell was cut 200 ft or 60 metres so it wouldn't be as tall as esb or Chrysler. It's a shame. It has so much potential to be the iconic ny building of this generation

Hehe Jean Nouvel must have a thing for gardens on scrapers. He's doing this here at One Central Park and there at NYC. But damn... that thing's beautiful... just like his other buildings
