As anticipated for 2009 (SE1163), HSBC Bank and Cubic, the Brescia Group's property manager, signed the lease for the building bearing the name "HSBC Tower, where such bank will set up their offices .
The building is located on Calle Las Begonias in the district of San Isidro, facing the future Westin Hotel and will have a height of 120 meters, becoming the tallest building in the city of Lima.
The total investment in the project is about U.S. $ 50 million. The start of construction is planned for March 2011 and will culminate in mid-2013 when it was delivered to the bank offices and other tenants of the project. The building will have the HSBC logo at the top.
The building was designed by architectural firm of architect Bernardo Fort Brescia, and have 26 floors of offices, 7-level parking for over 800 cars and an exclusive shopping area on the ground floor.
The project will also be certified as LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design, for its acronym in English), whereupon the "HSBC Tower" will be the first building "green building" enterprise in Peru. Certification is granted by the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC), a body of leaders of the construction industry in the United States
