Nog meer op Zuid
Her en der in Rotterdam worden stoeptegels vervangen door tegels met een plaatje, mededeling of om iets te markeren. Een voorbeeld daarvan heb ik hier al gepost.
Op de hoek van de Damstraat en de Persoonshaven stond een cafe 'De Vereeniging', waar door vijf jongemannen een club werd opgericht onder de naam 'Wilhelmina', vernoemd naar de buurtkerk. Sinds 5 mei 1912 werd de voetbalvereniging bekend onder de naam Feyenoord. Het pand waar het cafe gevestigd was is afgebroken en een nieuw gebouw neergezet. Op de plaats van het cafe is nu een kinderdagverblijf gevestigd. Aan de gevel hangt een bord ter herinnering aan de oprichting van de voetbalvereniging. Op de stoep voor het kinderdagverblijf is een tegel vervangen door deze.

Geinig, zo'n tegel ligt ook bij mij in de straat (Moerkerkestraat). Volgens mij heeft hier een bekende Feyenoorder gewoond.

@Sash: je kon het wel, vind vandalism kick, een beetje de stijl waar ik vroeger ook altijd mee liep te kloten. ech kick! Graffiti kan ik trouwens altijd wel waarderen ligt alleen een beetje aan de plaats waar ze gezet zijn en de manier waarop, die tags gaan nergens over maar zo'n hele muur vol met "pieces" of zo....geweldig!
