Thats true, you can see the cranes of the construction site of the new 220 DC tower on the 3rd picture. In 1-2 years time the skyline will be AWESOME

In 2-3 years they will add a slightly lower twin tower and perhaps add also a 3rd tower. Moving Vienna to the 1st league of European skylines.

Unfortunately, these pics are made in winter.
You should take your camera, and make some photos from the same perspective in summer.

I believe you, almost every pic in a touristic information is from the old City-Center.
Nealy nobody shows the modern sides of Vienna. (Unfortunately )
