From these angles they don't look to big. Seem more like simple shopping complexes you find everywhere, instead of malls. But these views are limited, so I wouldn't have any idea.

most of these are relatively small shopping complexes. Bashundhara City is the biggest mall in Dhaka, it's also the biggest mall in South Asia. Jamuna Future Park will be even bigger than Bashundhara City once completed.

Then they came for the Catholics,

Then they came for me,
and there was no one left to speak for me."

We need to learn from past, and we need to do it real fast, before its too late.

Gulshan Market - a popular shopping destination among the locals.

Roadside shopping arcades are common in Dhaka.

You know what... i prefer these over the real malls. Why? They have the exact same things the malls have yet its a lot cheaper and a lot more fun to shop in. You can find malls all over the world but places like this have a unique flavour in each country.

you are right. In big malls you are just another customer. In small places like these you are treated more than just a customer.

Kinory - Kinory brings for the first time in Bangladesh home interiors and antics that were unseen and unheard of till now. Kinory has taken themes from ancient art of Greek and Egyptian civilizations from Romanian sculptures to Renaissance innovation and the grand Mughal aesthetics of the sub-continent. Showroom is located on Gulshan Avenue.
