I believe you need to set up an account with the forumrunner, the company that made the app, and then link it with your SSC account, or something of the sort.

Am I the first user from a cyrillic using country? This app is unfortunately completely useless for us in Bulgaria and I suspect Russia as well. Everything posted in Cyrillic letters goes to "???"s afterwards.
C'mon, it's 2011, Unicode is a standard, this is a laughable bug, it's not DOS in 1993...

This is a test -> ???? ? ???? - same sentence in Cyrillic.

I had a lot of parsing errors, mostly when trying to search. Also really needs bookmarking for single forums and for multiple threads by tags (like when displaying multiple threads from all the forums by specifying a tag -> http://www.skyscrapercity.com/tags.p...3d%26%23378%3B ), so we don't have to browse through all of those categories every time.

We initially tried tapatalk but it worked very slow for us. Also I prefer a dedicated app, not something someone has to download from another company to make it work.

Unfortunately I found the android app to be only partially useful on my HTC Incredible S, as it doesn't appear to support Cyrillic characters

Yep. You can read, but you can't write. I haven't seen such issue with any other app I've tried ever.
Really annoying and stupid bug. Unicode is a standard for... Ummm... 20 years?!?

Is it? I haven't updated it in forever. It'll work until it stops working, I guess. don't depend upon it for anything.

Yup, it doesn't work anymore...
Tapatalk is a very popular iPhone app, all forums that i know support it, just SSC doesn't. It's a stupid thing because SSC is such a large and popular forum...

Can't you just fix that?
