There is no need for tapatalk. The current app does an excellent job in reading forum content.

I'm sure that there are people who simply prefer Tapatalk because they're used to use it, just as I am. All forums that I'm visiting support it, except SSC.
Is it so hard to press some "enable" button?

by "enable" you mean I have to go hunt down the latest version of tapatalk, hack it to work with our search system, upload it to 11 servers, then install the plugin in the admin system, then I have to buy taptalk on my android, since the version I originally had was on the iphone so I can test it fully, then enable it. Yes, it's totally just a "enable" button.

It's probably due to the Cyrillic characters in your name. I'll talk to Jan about it.

I'm using the iPhone app and there're some improvement that can be done...
in the favorite section should only appear the subscribed threads that have some news, just as it is on the traditional browsers. the second one concern the people in the ignore list, if they reply one thread, you can't even see the post, even not as a collapsed section. That cause the thread cannot be marked as read.

Congrats !!!
![]() I do have an android mobile and I use the application. I face a promblem with the editing though. When I write Greek in a new thread or I just edit an old post, when I press the submit button, all the existing text appears as question marks (?) So I don't write any more from my mobile. I just use the application to read the forum. I don't think its my Mobile's Unicode browser problem. Any way I don't mind a lot.

Useful app, but...
- Crashes VERY easily (at least on iPod touch) - When you select a thread, it goes to a random page (not the first, nor the last) - When a thread is heavy, the app crashes. And the known issues about international keyboards. But it's useful if you stay away from larger/heavier threads. |

For the Cyrillic characters, it's not about reading, it's the posting!
It's on iOS, I don't know about android Here's an example - text in Cyrillic: ????? ???? ?? ????????... And it goes to ??????s...

If you don't mind me asking, any impact it had on server resource usage? Am running a much smaller forum, can't find an answer to this anywhere and it's the only thing stopping me from installing a mobile solution.
