Nagasaki - Trams
I went down to Kyushu this week and stopped in Nagasaki for a day. I have a fascination for streetcars, trolleys, trams, etc. so I snapped a few pics of the ones in Nagasaki. I wasn't sure where to post my pics those; I guess this would be the right place.
Update 3/21/12 - I'm having trouble loading the pictures; here's a link to the album: https://picasaweb.google.com/nouveau.../NagasakiTrams Last edited by nouveau.ukiyo; March 21st, 2012 at 11:09 AM. |

Nice!
![]() Great variety, and you also got pics of the new 5000 series, too, which I had completely forgotten about. You should post the rest in the urban transport thread, too. Unfortunately, I don't have the time or resources to cover smaller cities as much as I'd like. I suppose Japan be happy with what they have, but it's still a shame that more tram systems didn't survive. |

Cool shots -- Nagasaki's trams are very small & cute compared to other places, I thought. Loved the little tram bridge over the river and some of the tunnels, too

i thought Nagasaki was switching to the new longer ones like what Hiroshima did, but when i was there, they are still using the older one car model
