GINGER Mysore..

From October 07 they have revised the rates, now a twin bed room costs about Rs.2000/- per day.

Some Lovely Pics of Mysore Sudheesh,
Your effot is commendable - God knows how many hearts your pics have inspired to help transform our India faster and make a difference - it sure has sparked mine. Please do keep up you good work through your pics and discussion threads. A pic is worth a thousand words they say.

Talking about your Mysore Pics - The Stately City sill retains it's old world charm - hope the city planners keep it intact when modernising it. Better roads and pavements especially around the Palace and shopping centres will be so welcome!

Has the road from Mysore to Brindavan Gardens been surfaced decently now? - It used to be a suspension testing affair only to land up at a dusty, chaotic diorganised park-as-you please kind of stituation a few years back at the beautiful Brindavan gardens.

I remember at one time people used to say that the Garden's hotel seen here was Haunted and it's occupancy was poor then - wonder how it has changed now? Are all the garden's lights and lazer show working well ? Is it now relatively dust free and well maintained ? Has the boating in the lake been re started ? Question Questions - well guess your pictures are to balme for this renewed interest...

Thanks Ramesh BTW I have just flown back to Trivandrum today morning from Bangalore, was there for the last four days, got several nice photos also. Plus some updates on the Metro work at MG road, Bangalore..

I am yet to post many photos of my Mysore trip. Not getting much time. Day after tomorrow flying again to Chennai.

Yes, you have hit the nail on its head. The road to the Gardens, in the final leg are in bad shape. But it is the only road which I found bad in my trip to Mysore.

Park is well maintained, well lit now.

No idea about the occupancy of the Royal Orchid now. Anyway since this is a luxury chain, they would be smart enough to find occupants for the hotel.

Garden's illumination as well as the dancing fountain show are good. Yes, boating is there in the lake/tank just below the dam. The boat takes people from the Garden to the point where the light show is held.
