Good to here sales doing very well here, but honestly it is expected. One57 sales had been scorching as of late which is a great sign for $B Row.

At least making it a supertall is not difficult

That building in the bottom photograph is one of my favorites!

And god yes, two years from now seeing almost complete exteriors on 220 CPS, Steinway, Nordstrom, and Verre not too far away along with 432 Park and One 57... awesome!!!!!!!!

Nice! At street level already and rebar ready for it to shoot into the sky! This will probably fly up!

Gives us something to watch whilst we wait for Nordstrom and Steinway to reach ground level

Yes, there's no doubt that this tower will rise very fast once it's a few meters above street level.

I don't think that the design which has been shown is what will rise. It's different from what is posted at the site.

Hmm, does it look better?

I'm not in NY but someone should snap a pic at some point

A potential "supply glut" is not the least bit surprising, but the fact that there's demand for the existing/UC towers still says something/speaks to NY's mightiness.

It's true anywhere though, what does up must come down, but I could definitely see this boom lasting a while longer and new towers we don't even know of yet being built which is the good news.

Will they use the one tower crane for both buildings? If so, that will slow the tower's growth.

This morning, I tried to take photos of the construction, but the (rude) construction worker wouldn't allow for it. I only managed to get this photo:

A for effort. It will be well over the fence before you know it.

NY Yimby posted a construction update on 220 CPS and the Nordstrom Tower (aka 217 West 57th Street) today. Great to see work is progressing so fast on both of them but I think 2016 is pretty optimistic for 220 CPS, maybe the exterior construction completion but I couldn't see first closes happening before late 2017 / early 2018.

(Sorry I can't include the link but if you go to the newyorkyimby site you should see it...)
