There are some clear differences between the leaked renderings and what's been built so far. That deep overhanging terrace is new, as are some of the balconies. Maybe the tower is different too.

Pic of a daredevil hanging on the roof of Time Warner Center, with a very good visual of 220 CPS.
If you asked me I'd say it takes certain amount of stupid to do these kind of things but at least the pics turn out to be pretty damn good. The pic is taken from IG so it has pretty much sh*t resolution because of that, for anyone interested the account is @livejn he does this kind of insane stuff all over NYC.

Lol!!.we are actually talking about some nasty "Mickey Mouse" architecture!
One has to wonder why Stern (77)has never had the Pritzker price....
He is kinda the Donald Trump of Oligarchitecture!
The Pritzker is typically only given to architects who espouse high modernist principles. If Stern were ever awarded it would be more of a lifetime achievement type award than anything else. He has won the Driehaus and Scully Prizes though (which have a larger payout and celebrate all forms of architecture). I'm honestly not sure Stern regards the Pritzker very highly anyway. That award is something like the Oscar for architecture -- more about politics and a particular ideology than anything else. There are a great many influential architects who may never be considered like Elizabeth Plater-Zyberk or Leon Krier simply because they do not play by a strict modernist canon.

Also I'm not sure why architecture that is designed for rich people is necessarily bad. I guess Michelangelo and Borromini only worked for proletariats? This debate comes up often in certain architecture discourses and it is often forgotten that the only people who can afford architects (or who have the social capital to need one) are typically rich people, corporations or governments.

I'm also not sure that I've heard anybody who is anti-the fake windows offer up any other compelling solution to the problem.
