I love how it's imposing imposition, along with One 57, absolutely changes the skyline dynamics.

It already has a huge positive impact on the view of CPS. An iconic crown is all this needs.

I wish they had left a little bit of space between the core and those fake windows, so there is little room to have access to that area in order to be able to install light behind these fake windows to fake the illusion at night that there are rooms behind the windows, instead of a wall that will forever appear like a dark strip of nothingness in the night.

NEW YORK | 220 Central Park South | 290m | 950ft | 66 fl | U/C

We haven't confirmed it with 100% certainty, but it appears the windows will be backed with LED light panels -- similar to the ones applied on the top 2 rows of windows on 432 Park's mechanical floors.

The strength of the illusion will depend on how well the light panels are designed. But it works surprisingly well at 432, and I would be shocked if the wall of 220 was dark at night.

If this tower winds up like 15 CPW or the other billionaire row towers, most of the building will be dark at night anyway. Not many units are going to be occupied at any given time.

Taking down the Villa tower crane:

You can see that the model accurately reflected the model here:

Too bad there are no clear images of the architectural model out there.

Lol. This goes to show that too much of a good thing is definitely a bad thing. This looks like some nightmarish chinese suburb from hell.

Stern's AVIC International Square in Dalian, China looks a little like that bunch of models.
