Is that the anti-showcase? The cluster in the financial district is so dated now. Then they built Cuprum just to make it even worse Grim.

Yeah there's a lot of work to be done there. I love Capella though, wish it was 24 floors instead of 12!

Looking very impressive but have to say the new frontage of St Enoch's Centre is somewhat of a let down.

Yeah have to agree there, there was supposed to be a BBC big screen above where the Tesco Metro is, this got pulled for some reason or another. It would have added a new dimension to the square. St Enoch's are struggling to fill many of the new unit's, with the new extension practically empty apart from Hamleys of course. The look and quality of the finish inside is shocking!

True, didn't mean to sound harsh there.

Glasgow has some great old Victorian buildings. It's just the crap 60's and 70's high-rises, that all British cities are blighted with, haven't yet been offset by any decent modern high rise developments.

Fair enough. Unfortunately we didn't benefit from the high rise boom that other cities enjoyed, due to numerous factors.
