Jays are pounding the ball. Can't wait for Lind to get back and balance out the lineup, as well as providing a power-bat behind the legend known as Jose Bautista.

Argh! Jays lose last night. Would have been awesome to sweep the #2 team in the league.
Brett Lawrie is joining the Jays when they face the Orioles later this week. Lind will also be back. You are not prepared Baltimore! |

Drabek gave up 4 runs in 0.2 innings. What a horrid performance! He needs to be demoted.

With Litsch on the 15 day DL, there aren't many options for rotation replacements. Although the Jays could consider moving Rzepczynski to starter, or recalling Brett Cecil.
Looks like Lawrie's major league debut may be temporarily delayed, out day to day with bruised left hand. Also, not surprisingly; http://tsn.ca/mlb/story/?id=367581 Quote:

Jesse Litsch is so horrid.......I never want to see him in a Jays uniform again. He just keeps getting fatter and shittier. As far as Cecil, they should call him up and see what he can do in the bullpen.

After much number crunching I've figured out that the Jays need to keep losing the first game of every series, because then they win the other two (or three). If they win the first game, they lose the rest. That's my secret to success.

![]() Uncle Buck just mentioned on the telecast that Bautista has been named player of the month for four of the last five months.

I'm glad the boys took 2 from Baltimore. You need to beat the teams below you, something they haven't done in recent years.
Let's hope they do the same in K.C. this week. |

2nd baseman Mike McCoy pitched today's 9th inning against the Red Sox. Ridiculous. This team is the laughing stock of the league.
If only we had Shaun Marcum now (6-2 2.58 ERA). |

12-1 Red Sox in the 6th inning. It's over. The Blue Jays pitchers suck. Demote Kyle Drabek NOW.

Wow, just looked at the box scores. Boston totally destroyed the Jays this weekend and have won 9 in a row. The Jays are 7.5 games behind Boston and another couple of series like this and they'll be out before the all star break.

You know, I can handle a guy having a bad game or a bad few games especially if it's a part of a learning curve, but this kids little temper tantrums between innings are brutal.
I think he could use a good veteran catcher behind the plate to keep his head on straight while he's pitching. If he's really the future of the Jays staff, then we need a Greg Zaun type of guy who will talk him through things or kick his pansy ass if need be. Or Crash Davis to just tell the hitters what pitch is coming to bring his ego down. He also needs to take some cues from his Dad's pitching days, I think he always had his composure when he was on the mound and in the dugout. |
