I can usually tell Asian, American and European skyscrapers apart.
Asians have very extravagent designs, with whacky forms and theyaren't afraid to use colour.
North and South Americans have more subdued, reserved, and classy designs.
Europeans have kind of a mix of the two, albeit shorter.

Defining buildings for each area, imo.
North America: Empire State Building and TD Center
Europe: Shard and Commerzbank
Asia: KLI63 and CCTV Centre.

All of those areas still have heaps and heaps of architecture that is from their own style. Unless people want to build 400 meter pagodas or cathedrals, they should stick with what's on the lower half of that paper.
