iirc that station will be changed next year during the months-long down-time for the line when they're replacing the signaling system. To one that actually meets the original specs, and it'll be the same as the one now being installed on the new Solna extension.
The change at that station is supposed to lead to a better flow of people to/from the eastbound platform (i.e. the one across the tracks for almost everyone).

That's good as it seems a little divided at present. I'm looking forward to the end of the signalling and the opening of the new line segment though. Lots of pictures will be taken!

Yeah! It'll be a great new connection, I'm guessing passenger numbers will be pretty good from the get-go. There's also the new A35 trams, looking forward to them too

Firstly, a nice pictures of the metro cars C20:

It would interesting to know whether these cars will be changed to C30, aswell, or not?

Secondly, a nice video with an unusual trip by a suburban train in a stretch between Kallhäll and Kungsängen:

The one can see almost 10 railway tunnels in a short period of time.

it seems the driver has to check door closing going out of the train... how can be? no mirror/cameras on the train?

There are monitors and mirrors at some stations. Sometimes they like to get out of their cab though and view manually even when these are available. No harm in doing so really as it doesn't increase turn around time at stations really (it's not noticeable on the train anyway).

STOCKHOLM | Metro

Stockholm has a metro (or. tunnelbana) system for more than 60 years. The first line opened in 1950, and today the system has 100 stations in use, of which 47 are underground and 53 above ground. There are seven lines numbered from 10 to 19, in three groups identified by a color: the Green, Red and Blue lines. Each color line has two or three numbered lines on shared sections through the Stockholm City Centre.
The 105.7 kilometres (65.7 mi) long metro system is owned by the Stockholm County Council through Storstockholms Lokaltrafik (SL). The operation is contracted to MTR Corporation.

System length: 105.7 km (65.7 mi);
Number of lines: 3 (green, red and blue); 7 services;
Number of stations: 100;
Daily ridership: ~1.2 mln;
Operator: MTR Corporation;
Train length: 140 m;
Track gauge: 1.435 mm;
Rolling stock: mainly C20 cars:
Specific features: for a number of art installations the metro system is known as an underground art gallery where many stations have specific decorations.

Svartmetall, the thread dedicated to Stockholms metro (tunnelbana) was created as a space for the discussions about the decorations of stations and overall impressions about the system (excluding discussion related to the projects such as renovation, planned line extentions, etc.). Following the example of other similar threads, it seemed that the tunnelbana system could be represented in the sepparate thread.
It is my mistake for not consulting with you and explaining the idea prior to creating a thread. I am sorry about that.
Since the messages were replaced to this thread, it would be nice, if you put the information to the approriate posts in the introductory part (in the case it would suit there).
Sorry once again. Much thank you to you for managing the thread which is very interesting to follow. Will try to contribute when possible in the future.

You can add everything to this thread as I am trying to keep this forum to one thread per small city (like Stockholm) and perhaps two threads for the larger cities with more extensive transport systems otherwise it becomes very hard to manage the forum.

Thank you for posting the information though, I will add it to the first post and leave your post here too.

Tvärbanan update from Sundbyberg

Just a few photos from Sundbyberg showcasing some of the Tvärbanan expansion. It will make Sundbyberg one of the best connected suburbs with links to the metro, rail system and circular light rail.

Shot showcasing some of the suburban redevelopment (the buildings in the background are being torn down and replaced with a modern shopping area, restaurants and more apartments) as well as the new bike tracks and the light rail.

So I see that works are going on
As I saw that place for the last time (alive,of course) in September,there were only rails (no traction poles or wires like on most part of Karlsbodavägen).
But when are they going to put rails and wires on a viaduct crossing the railtrack and join two parts of new tram track (you know,I mean with that part of track going by Solna Business Park; I don't remember name of that street)?

BTW: that older rolling stock is still in use on T10 line?I saw those thrain there only in rush hour so maybe there are a history already...?
