True. I think this area is a prone to earthquake liquefaction. If this were reclaimed 100 years ago, then the soil may have stabilized but the reclamation was done only few years ago(1977). It is even more recent than the Urayasu area in Japan (where the Tokyo Disneyland is and reclaimed 1962) and Urayasu suffered liquefaction during last years earthquake.
I would not buy a condo around this area.

Speaking about condo, I just saw in a separate thread and Bayworld is already marketing ugly looking condos in their area of Entertainment City. It is just a big disappointment that Pagcor is allowing this type of development here. This is such a prime area to use for residential condos (and again ugly looking ones). They should instead put up parks (theme parks and otherwise) or gardens (like the recently opened Marina Bay Park in Singapore), or maybe theaters (patterned after London West End or USA's NEw York) where we can watch Phantom or Miss Saigon, or maybe museums.

I am starting to think that this Entertainment City is nothing but a hype.

Cock fighting, pitbull fighting as well as bull fights are starting to be look down upon as cruelty to animals. In fact these fights should be banned all together. I heard that there are moves to lessen if not totally ban bull fights in countries where these are being performed.

Hi guys, I'm in town right now for my condo inspection at The Residential Resort (Sarasota Cluster) in Newport City. Just attended the Bayshore Residences presentation last Saturday amd was inforned they're building two (2) high-end hotels beside the mall and one of them are Ritz Carlton. Currently, they're pre-selling clusters 1 & 2.

What's in a tower? We could have that during Ramos' time, though, the people dismissed the idea because that was not a necessity. We can be prosperous without that.

I was told that the Angeles mayor is in talks with Disneyland people for creating one in Angeles City, though, no definite result yet. Anyway, this is exciting.

I prefer MOA Eye than Singapore Flyer for the sake of riding. It's a bore spending 30-45 minutes seeing the same view. I was not surprised that I was not the only one who got bored riding Singapore Flyer. My friends avoided that wheel. A friend had to tell stories to her bored children while on board SF.

Yes, we have a race track in Subic, etc.

Clark is ranked as the world's #3 airport. Nice!

Not only Spratlys, it is believed that Benham Rise contains huge gas/oil deposits.

Even Singapore is envious of what we have. We can expand our economy greater than what they have now.
