The European China Centre will be an international multi-functional centre for business, living and leisure. It provides offices, apartments, a hotel, restaurants, Western and Chinese specialty stores and congress and events facilities.
The total development will be 100.000 mē:

1e phase: 43.000 mē GFA
2e phase: 7.000 mē GFA
3e - 5e phase: 50.000 mē GFA

Hotel 9.125 mē
Horeca (incl. Food Plaza) 3.050 mē
Offices 5.000 mē
Business units 1.525 mē
Retail (Chinese Specialty) 4.500 mē
Supermarket (Asian) 1.500 mē
Apartments 110
Parking spaces 460
Start construction 1st phase: 30 June 2011
Planned delivery of 1st phase: Summer 2013

ECC Rotterdam BV is incorporated by Shanghai Construction Group
and Volker Wessels Vastgoed.

Nice development. I hope it will atttract a lot of new Chinese companies to the city. The view from this location will be great as well.

Construction has moved forward. Three towercranes here now constructing this very welcome density for this area.

This is a huge improvement for an area that used to be dominated by industry and working class houses.

Very nice developments. Too bad there was no real tower included, but perhaps that will be possible in a future expansion.
